Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVAL AT AMMAN AIRPORT

Arrive Amman Airport where our airport staff will meet you at the gate just as you leave the airplane. Full assistance with the visa and customs formalities, transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight. (Buffet Dinner at hotel)

Day 2AMMAN / AJLUN NATURE RESERVE / JERASH / AMMAN

Drive north to Ajlun Woodland Reserve located in the Ajloun Highlands. It consists of a Mediterranean hill country, dominated by open woodlands of Oak and Pistachio. The rich greenery of Ajloun has made it a popular spot for picnickers and hikers. The area has a long history of human settlements, due to its Mediterranean climate, dense forests, and fertile soil.
Enjoy the Rockrose Trail: 8km trail, taking 3-4 hours, passing across heavily wooded valleys and ridges, inside and outside the nature reserve. This highly scenic trail passes through villages and olive orchards and offers beautiful panoramic views to the West Bank and Syria. There is steep scrambles en-route that demands a reasonable level of fitness. Allow you local guide to explain the different types of vegetation as well as the medicinal purposes of the various plants Picnic lunch.
Proceed to visit Jerash, which remains today as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved Greco-roman cities outside Italy. Excavations made it possible to update two theatres, several temples, churches, a market, thermal baths, and the famous Cardo Maximus alley of 600 meters bordered columns. Drive back to Hotel in Amman for overnight.(Buffet Breakfast & Buffet Dinner at hotel)

Day 3AMMAN / MUJIB NATURE RESERVE / KARAK / DHANA NATURE RESERVE

Drive to the Lowest Nature Reserve on Earth bordering the Dead Sea at 400 meters below sea level, the Mujib Nature Reserve surrounds Wadi Mujib, a deep and majestic canyon that cuts through rugged highlands and drains into the Dead Sea. Visitors will be fascinated by Mujib’s adventurous, solace, and serenity in a true wilderness environment.
Enjoy the Siq Trail: takes around 3hours. This is a moderate hike into the main gorge of the Mujib River (the Siq). It starts at the visitor centre near the Mujib Bridge, from where you take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. Picnic lunch
Drive to visit Karak’s Crusaders Castle built in the 12th century AD, which is situated on a hilltop about 1000 meters above sea level and surrounded by a valley on three sides. Proceed to the Dana Nature Reserve for overnight. (Buffet Breakfast at hotel + Buffet Dinner at camp)

Day 4DANA NATURE RESERVE / SHAWBAK / PETRA Dana Nature Reserve

is truly a world of natural treasures. Visitors to Dana will experience the beauty of Rummana Mountain, the timeless tranquility of Dana Village, and the grandeur of the red and white sandstone cliffs of Wadi Dana. The Dana Village area, overlooking the scenic Wadi Dana, has been occupied since 4000 BC.
Enjoy the White dome Trail: 8 Km trail, taking 3 to 4 hrs. The trail contours the huge escarpments of Wadi Dana between Rummana Camp and Dana Village. It offers breath-taking views of the canyon-like Wadi and passes through the village terraced gardens. Picnic lunch.
Drive to Shawbak to visit the Crusader Castle. Once called “Mont Real”, Shawbak dates back to the 12th century AD. It is perched on the side of a mountain, with a grand sweep of fruit trees below. Proceed to the greatest city of the Arab nation which existed 2000 years ago: Petra. Overnight at Hotel in Petra. (Buffet Breakfast at camp + Buffet Dinner at hotel)

Day 5FULL DAY VISIT OF PETRA

The ancient Nabatean city of Petra was recently voted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In 1985 Petra was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Begin your visit by enjoying a walk or a short horse ride from Petra’s main entrance to the entrance of the old city “Al Siq”. As you reach the end of the Siq, the first and greatest monument of Petra slowly comes into view. This is the famous Treasury monument “Al Khazneh”. Indulge yourself, and walk through the architectural and spiritual wonders of this majestic place examining every detail in sight.
Lunch in Al Anbat Tent Restaurant or Basin Restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Petra. (Buffet Breakfast + Buffet Dinners at hotel)

Day 6PETRA / WADI RUM

Depart to the Natural Resort of Wadi Rum “The Valley of the Moon” a unique place unlike anywhere else you have ever visited. Arrive at the village of Rum to explore this splendid desert with the local Bedouins. They will drive you with their 4×4 Bedouin Pick Ups to Jebel Burdah. There, you will hike up the mountain to reach the natural Rockbridge and cross it (around 3 hours walk to go up and down). Then you will havelunch and rest in the shade of the mountain. In the afternoon, you will visit by 4×4 Bedouin Pick Ups all the main places of Wadi Rum; the nabatean inscriptions of Khazali and Um fashiyeh, the red sand dunes, Barragh canyon, Lawrence’s house.Drive to a view point to enjoy the sunset in Wadi Rum. Overnight at a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum.(Buffet Breakfast at hotel + Buffet Dinner at camp)

Day 7WADI RUM / DEAD SEA / AMMAN

Drive via Wadi Araba Road to the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth 400 meters below sea level. Spend the day bathing and relaxing in the gently lapping waters of the Dead Sea and be amazed that you can never sink!
Lunch in Dead Sea. Proceed to Amman for overnight at hotel. (Buffet Breakfast & Buffet Dinner at hotel)

Day 8AMMAN / AMMAN AIRPORT

Transfer to Amman Airport for departure including meeting and assistance during formalities.
