Continue to Megiddo, also known as the plains of Armageddon, approximately 30km east of Haifa. Megiddo has been the site of many battles throughout the ages and many settlements, most of which have been discovered layered one on top of the other through archaeological digs. Today, Megiddo is most well-known as the place where the last battle described in the Bible will take place—Armageddon. The book of Revelation describes the plains of Megiddo as the gathering place for armies before the final battle preceding the 2nd coming of the Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Proceed to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Continue to Capernaum on the northern shoreline of the Sea of Galilee to visit the site and synagogue where Jesus preached, healed the sick, and performed many miracles. Stop at Tabgha, the location of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, where Jesus is said to have fed a large crowd with just five loaves of bread and two fish.
